Adam Lambert vs Singers and Phones

There was a very good reason Adam Lambert was 99% of the time, placed last in order to sing in Idol.

It's because he is the consummate performer. Adam's talent was above and beyond any of his competition, and they needed to preserve his amazing performances until the very last, each night. The other Idols sang songs, and remained safe and sound in their cocoons. Don't get me wrong, I love the others too, but they fall under the same banner as most other singers.

Adam was the only Idol to weekly provide complete and perfectly honed performances.  Anyone looking at him would have thought they were at an Adam Lambert concert, not a talent show.

This show is themed to find an American Idol, not an American Singer.

Adam's lungs have been in the olympics since he was 10. He has morphed and developed his styles enough to now have a smorgasbord to choose from. He used the full range of his voice, changed out his look so dramatically with his hair, face, accessories and clothes, connected sensually, gave us music from different eras when not specifically asked to, shook things up to keep us on the edge of our seats, sustained melodic notes, used costuming, lighting, and effects properly, used the full stage from day one. He is so talented, that the more difficult roles of doing gyrating, heavy rock gigs, or singing glory notes were effortless; slow crooning, whether sitting or standing still, must have made him think he was in the Caribbean, slurping on a pina colada. Adam Lambert is in a class of his own.

Adam's worked tirelessly to be the person he needed to be. An artist like this, with so much popularity and diversity, achieving such high worldwide acclaim, could not possibly be placed second, in a real monitored poll. No matter how good he is, we did not fail to see how Kris was genuinely stunned when Ryan announced the winner. It was very profound. More to the point, it was not about Kris being announced; it was that Adam was not announced as winner, or Kris wouldn't have said what he did. The phone voting is a totally worthless system, as unverified as the full results are. Unless there is transparency, it all holds zero value. This conclusion is far from rocket science.
