Adam Lambert has reached the exclusive Twitter milestone of one million followers.This was inevitable, given his extraordinary talent, personality, and communication skills. He's said he enjoys the real-time connection with others, and people know the comments are his alone.

I am a huge Adam fan, it started on Idol cuz I admired his voice but I have become a real fan and proud Glambert because of the positive uplifting person he is. He picks really great charities that are so easy to get behind and his fans are very generous. the latest was friendfactor, once again, he mentions something and then crashes their servers! LOL
My favorite tweet by Adam is whenever he reaches out to help others in need[ Haiti, New Zealand,Australia, Japan,etc-and especially all those young people everywhere- being bullied just for being alive and being their beautiful selves. He extends his encouragement and hope for a more loving world. He is my hero.
Great article, as usual, Ann. And a great subject - the wonderful Adam Lambert. Adam's accomplishments since achieving AI fame are amazing and varied. And his followers on Twitter and elsewhere follow him out of love, admiration and to gain inspiration. But also because Adam is just plain fun as hell! Being his fan is a wild and wonderful ride!!

I have been his fan ever since American Idol days, and am constantly looking for media news about him. I just became aware of your work last night, as I was waiting for Adam to become Mr. Twitter Millionaire. I was so impressed that I immediately subscribed to you. My favorite Adam tweet was something about running down the street being chased by drag queens in high heels (in rural Michigan?) It's fun when he tells you just a snippet of something happening (ideal for Twitter). Like a good story teller--your imagination can go wild with that. He can be very funny.

When Adam tweeted Rakastan I immediately had to look it up. It is now a word that Glamberts use time to time in our tweets. There are some funny Glamberts out there and I like getting different opinions. I can join in on a topic any night for a bit to see what may be happening in other communities and around the world and when Adam was on tour it was FANtastic to get opinions and reactions as well as video via twitter. It will be a long wait until the next tour but in the meantime I am still Entertained.

During the GNT @ the Winstar in OK friends were terrorized by a homophobic cop. (the cop was subsequently disciplined.) Adam and the band witnessed the assault from the stage during "Strut." As a group we were devastated when we should have been celebrating a great show. (and the fact we flew in from around the country.) Within minutes after the show Adam tweeted the Winstar telling their security to "take it easy on my fans....they're excited, not hostile." That meant so much to us....so very much. Monte followed up w/pics of Adam backstage discussing the issue with casino staff. We follow him because he really cares about his fans....

My favorite Tweet so far is when he said if we didn't like the goatee to #Suckit. A very powerful man he is to be able to get a million people to pay attention every time he Tweets a few words. I like how some of them are puzzles and we communicate on Adamofficial.com to figure out what they mean. Like "420". LOL Yes, he is not an angel. He just has the voice of one.

Adam is relevant and piques interest with concise, provocative tweets. I follow him (everything about him because his story is unique, with all the intrigue, drama, suspense, romance--everything you could want from a protagonist in a story. Through all the social media, we have come to know him intimately, and are continually intrigued because Adam is an interesting person, unlike many artists who are mostly ordinary, like most of us. With Adam we get vicarious thrills.
